Rocky Deutsch Formed A Solo Practice That Performs Euthanasia In The Pet’s Home

Rocky Deutsch is a Northern Virginia native who graduated from O’Connell High School, Arlington, which is a faith-filled community of learning that is rooted in a 55-year tradition of service and excellence. After completing his graduate course, he enrolled at Virginia Tech University to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. He completed the bachelor’s course in 1980 after which he was admitted to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985 from this prestigious educational establishment.

During his college summer vacation, he went to Texas and worked on a cattle ranch and also worked on a dairy farm. Later, he served as a full-time veterinary technician in several small animal hospitals in Northern Virginia. Owning to his diverse background in working with animals and years of experience in emergency, surgery, and critical care medicine, he has been able to treat a multitude of patients. As he also worked as the staff veterinarian at the Tidewater Emergency Clinic situated in Newport News, Virginia, he has gained expertise in all the areas pertaining to veterinary treatments. During his tenureship at this emergency practice, he gained immense experience in critical care and emergency medicine and surgery.

After serving this practice as a staff veterinarian for years, he became the owner and manager of the Burke Veterinary Clinic in May 1986. He made consistent efforts for the success of this new venture, and it took him 13 years to grow this veterinary clinic. Soon after, he formed a solo practice which is being run by him even today. This solo practice focuses solely on performing euthanasia in the pet’s home. Rocky Deutsch understands they every pet owner want their pets to spend the final minutes in the convenience of their own home. Considering this, he came up with such a useful service that addresses this concern of pet owners. His veterinary practice also transports the pets to the crematorium for private cremation.
