Rocky Deutsch – A Veterinary Doctor Based In Manassas, VA

Rocky Deutsch is a veterinary doctor who studied at Virginia Tech University from where he attained his Bachelor of Animal Science degree. On completion of his graduate course, he enrolled at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Soon after graduating from college, he joined the Tidewater Emergency Veterinary Hospital, after-hours emergency clinic in Newport News Virginia, as a staff veterinarian where he was responsible for managing emergency medical and surgical cases in a thriving, ever-growing community.

Dr. Deutsch served as a staff veterinarian for years and became the owner and manager of the Burke Veterinary Clinic in May 1986. He owned this veterinary practice for more than a decade, and made consistent efforts and dedicated contributions for the success of the practice. He played a key role in the growth of the clinic and increased the annual gross revenue. He served the practice as a medical director and Chief Financial Officer. In 2008, he formed a solo practice in order to provide veterinary relief services for clinics that required temporary help. This kind of relief practice enabled him to practice Veterinary Medicine in over 20 different practices. Each of these veterinary clinics had their own style of practice and unique structure. As each situation was different and unique, talents of many types came into play.

In addition to this, Dr. Deutsch formed a solo practice for providing services to perform euthanasia in the pet’s home. This service is highly appreciated by clients who want their pets to spend their final minutes in the comfort of their own home. This solo practice also offers a service in which they transport the pet to the crematorium for private cremation. Besides this, he has also been working as a part-time Veterinarian Staff Surgeon at Tackett’s Mill Veterinary Hospital, Woodbridge, Virginia since February 2009. He has been performing all kinds of surgeries for this busy solo practice.
